This tram can carry up to 317 people around town. When fully loaded, its eight axles together support a load of more than 60 tonnes. |

Each of the four bogies has an electric motor, giving a total power rating of 360 kW. |
| Requirements |
During its travels, the tram must negotiate uphill and downhill sections. Furthermore, the uneven surfaces which can be found on the streets of any town must not impair the travel characteristics of the tram. |

The bearing arrangements of the bogie joints must therefore permit tilting and slanting in all the axles. Furthermore, the bearing arrangements must be small enough to allow passenger movement from the front to the back of the tram. |
